Chris, Elsa and their three children live in a huge mansion in Broken Head, near Byron Bay, which is estimated to be worth $ 30 million.
They have spent years renovating their home, which spans 4.2 hectares of land, with help from Sydney-based MCK Architects, but the development has met with some resistance from locals, who l compared to a multi-story parking lot or shopping mall.
The 50-meter infinity pool on the roof of the house alone would have cost at least $ 400,000, a huge indoor mural could be worth up to $ 100,000, and the landscaping bill would have run into around $ 500,000.
